ABOUT THE ARTIST

I've been a photography hobbyist since my teen years, but began to get serious around 2001. Since then, I've developed what I'd like to think is a style unique to my work, but reminiscent of old-school masters of photography.

I live in north-central Florida and travel when possible to capture scenery, events, and people willing to stand in front of my camera.

My work can be seen in person at local and regional art shows. Check the list of upcoming shows and events to see where I'll be.

In a previous life, I was a military helicopter pilot and a field technician for a major telecommunications company. Between then and now, I was injured in a propane explosion that nearly killed me, but also reaffirmed the idea that life is precious and fleeting, and doing what you enjoy is more important than making a lot of money. Now I create photos that I hope others will enjoy as much as I did making them.
