"I'm not photogenic"

I don't know how many times I've heard those words from the mouths of some of the models I've photographed. Jessica is the latest in that group. I met her working behind the bar at a night club in Gainesville. I asked if I could take a few photos as she worked and she agreed, but told me before I started, "I'm just not that photogenic, but you can take pictures if you want." Ugh.

After I showed her some of the shots I got on the preview screen of my camera, she agreed to take my card. A few weeks later, I heard from her again and she was interested in getting something slightly more formal, so we set up a photo shoot near the Suwanee River in Chiefland. These are some of the images from that day. Truly a pleasure to work with this woman.
